Celebrity For A Night

What a fun idea! Make someone feel like a celebrity for a night out on the town. It would be an excellent business idea if you live in an area that has many popular famous nightclubs. Of course you will have to pay these nightclubs a fee to get your clients in for an agreed upon amount of time. Since the clients will probably want to visit several different nightclubs, they probably won't be staying more than a few of hours at each club. This could depend a great deal, on what package they may book.

Offer a unique service for people that can purchase a package from you and get to visit a few different nightclubs in a limo, have security personnel for them, and even paparazzi to make them feel like celebrities for a night. Drinks should be included also in the package fee - perhaps two free drinks per club will suffice. The more your clients feel like celebrities, the faster your business will proper!

You could charge around $900 for four people in the party. Offer the limo, the paparazzi, the bodyguards, and a personal stylist, all for an extra $250 - $300 per additional option. These are all options that you can determine your cost for and then make sure that you make a decent profit. This will require you to do a lot of organizing ahead of time before putting the packages together. Once you have all of the packages designed and organized, you will want to start advertising the night fun.

You will probably need to spend a good amount of money in advertising. If you don't have a lot of money to do this, you might be able to start by talking to the local vacation and travel agents in your area. Leaving small brochures at the local hotels in your area would be a good way to find customers; many times when people come to visit an area they will ask the local staff in Hotels about fun things to do while they are in town. This is especially true of people that are traveling for business reasons. They might stay a few extra days just to take in the night out on the town. A good incentive may be to offer the Hotel or staff members a small fee for referring their customers.

Keeping different age groups in mind is a good idea, since different types of nightclubs would appeal to different age groups. You would also have to make sure that the people in the party are all within drinking age, if they are visiting nightclubs that serve alcoholic drinks. You wouldn't want to be responsible for offering the service to under age groups. You could still offer a different type of package for younger people though; just take them to special events like a dinner out and a concert with special seats. You might be very surprised at how much this will appeal to young adults and teenagers. Including the extra bodyguards and paparazzi, this would be quite an adventure for them(make sure they attend places that are appropriate for their age and possibly require one guest to be an adult that will be responsible for them, unless you can pay the bodyguards to make sure they are safe and not drinking alcohol illegally).

Celebrity Dresses

Thankfully, I don’t have a lot of friends that must have the latest celebrity dresses, but I do know some people who think this is what life is all about. I’m not like that and I never have been. I guess I have always been less concerned with my clothing than most. Don’t get me wrong, I like to wear great stuff, but I like what I like, and I don’t plan my wardrobe around what someone else is wearing. Though some of these clothes that celebrities show up in are great, I don’t think many realize they don’t really choose what they wear sometimes, at least not to large events.

Some do, and some do not. When you see celebrity dresses at an event like the Oscars, you can bet at least half of them are wearing something that was not what they really wanted to wear, and would never have paid for. Celebrities wearing designer dresses has been a long tradition, and though they look great, I realize it is nothing more than an advertisement. What kills me about celebrity dresses is that most people could never afford to buy those dresses so they buy knock offs, which does not put any money in that designers pocket. You would think the designers would have picked up on this by now.

I could never pay the asking price for many of these types of celebrity dresses, but I can’t say that I would if I had the money. Why would I spend that much on one outfit when a car would be a more sane choice? The prices on these outfits and dresses are out of control, and there is no reason on earth to buy something to wear that will be worn only once or twice. Why on earth would anyone do that? I can’t fathom it, but perhaps I am just not like everyone else.

There is something else that most don’t understand about celebrity dresses. Most of those gowns worn at big events are loners or gifts. Even the celebrity did not pay that wild amount of money for the dress. Many times it is a gift for advertising purposes. This is why you always hear people covering these events ask, “What are you wearing?” If the celebrity can’t tell anyone what they are wearing, they aren’t doing their job. I would think some free advertising in return for a great dress is great, but I can’t imagine even they want to spend that much on celebrity dresses.
